Pilates Workshops with Amy Lange:
ReDiscover the power of the fundamentals! We will ReCreate these skills, the ABC’s of the entire Pilates repertory, from the
internal body. We will ReExperience how these subtle nuances can be the difference between tapping into our internal strength and
allowing ourselves to continue to compensate for an unknowing of this strength. We will RePlenish the fuel necessary to ReForm
our workouts.
ReThink spinal articulation! We will ReEvaluate and ReLease the rules we have imposed on ourselves that thwart our human
potentials. We will ReExplore what it means to articulate one vertebrae at a time, and whether we are staying true to decompression
as we do so. We will consider how important ReEnergizing the rib cage is in ReEvolving our understandings of uniform development.
ReConnect to the springs! We will ReExplore what it means to move from one’s core on the equipment by considering the force of
the spring through the body, and the difference between internal and external absorption of that force. By opening ourselves to the
energy of the springs we will observe and feel how this speaks to the whole of our bodies, leaving our workouts feeling ReIntegrated
and ReInvigorated.

Yoga Workshops with Jeannine Dietz
Yoga: a Metaphor for Life.
Many of us have heard about the yoga craze that is currently sweeping the nation and the world; but did you know that yoga can be
a metaphor for life? When we hold our bodies, even challenging them to find specific positions, we open up to physical and
emotional experiences we are able to avoid in the day to day of our lives. These experiences hold pieces of meanings that it is our
life work to put together. Leaving them dormant won’t keep them silent. Experience has its own internal drive for expression,
consciously creating a space to discover what we literally hold within ourselves can enhance everything else we hold dear in our lives.
Please Join Jeannine Dietz for a special yoga practice designed for people of all ages and at all levels of fitness. Please bring a yoga
mat and any props you may use.
Satsang:
sat = true, sanga = company) describes in Indian philosophy (1) the company of the "highest truth," (2) the company of a guru, and
(3) company with an assembly of persons who listen to, talk about, and assimilate the truth. This involves listening to or reading
scriptures, reflecting on, discussing and assimilating their meaning, meditating on the source of these words, and bringing their
meaning into one’s daily life. Contemporary satsang teachers in the West - frequently coming from the Advaita Vedanta tradition -
sometimes mix traditional Eastern knowledge with methods of modern psychology.
During a satsang with a master, students are likely to ask questions. Satsangs also may contain elements like lectures, meditations, or
recitations.

Breath Workshop with Melody Morton
Breath work is an active meditation that creates space in the ego to enable one to work deeper in their core. It is a pranayama yoga breathing technique. The breath work allows one to go to the depths of feelings and therefore into the subconscious. The breath moves the energy into areas that are stuck. The energy from the breathing process raises the vibration of the body by stimulating the hypothalamus gland, thereby releasing endorphins. The breath revs up the central nervous system pushing against areas that are blocked. This is where we have a break through into transformation. As you make choice to let go and open up or feel the familiar voice of the ego telling you you don't feel comfortable, the breath work is a ride into creating awareness of self for self-transformation. Come and let go of fear and resistance by discovering how your spirit rides in and transforms through your breath.
